The food was AMAZING, we came during a storm though so the menu was limited but even so it was delicious. The service is always good here Thank you to our server/bartender (young man, blonde hair, blue eyes, future lineman) was attentive and good conversationalist. Ambiance is wonderful , it's cozy and comfortable. Full Bar seating , high tops and low tables . It's on the second floor with stair and elevator access.

The bartender Alex (male) was absolutely helpful while trying to find a good drink and food to go with my meal. Great guy did well by me and my family and will do the same for urs

I was already enchanted by the ambiance of this charming, historic, hotel, but somehow my stay was elevated to unprecedented levels of comfort and luxury...thanks to Mounstainside Bar & Grill. First off, I HAVE to recommend the Mushroom Ravioli. This meal will give you the necessary carbohydrates required for a successful day on the slopes, and the exquisite taste will stay with you long after you leave the mountain. While my meal was wonderful, I have to emphasize that my dining experience was enhanced by the exceptional service of my waitress, Marin. She was attentive: anticipating my needs before I voiced them. She was kind and compassionate, and made me feel right at home. Marin is beautiful inside and out, and I can't wait to return to Mountainside Bar & Grill on my next trip up the mountain.

Delicious food and even better bar tenders! Alexander was very attentive, had fitting drink recommendations, and made you feel like you were in first class on an airplane.

besides the 10 star view of the mountain, the friendliness and deep cocktail knowledge of Alex is unsurpassed. I literally witnessed him conjure Taijin from the atmosphere when he was out. Other Alex, Alex I girlfriend, when she's not pouring delicious German beers at The Yodeler, can also be found bartending at the Mountainside B&G. as hard as it may be to believe, her cocktail, and general life knowledge, is even deeper than Alex I. Come see for yourself. Cheers!

Went in to grab a bite to eat after being on the mountain all day. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Alex the bartender who promptly got me a nice cold beer and provided me with a menu. I ordered the flat iron steak with mash potatoes. I ordered my steak rare and this is one of the few places I have been to in my life that has cooked it correctly! The steak was delicious and flavorful, the mash was the perfect consistency and left me wanting another helping! Overall a great place to enjoy a nice beer and a good meal after a long day out on the slopes.

Had a great time enjoying libations while watching the more faring guests board and ski down the hill. This was my first time to Mammoth and I had an amazing time conversing and laughing with Ms Teri behind the bar! She was an amazing bartender and made my experience amazing. The ambiance is great as it stays pretty crowded and everyone's got a story to tell. The food from the food court was nothing special but the carbs helped soak up the booze!

You may lose your taste buds at high altitudes of 10,000 feet and I did not expect to find fine food on Mammoth Lake mountain summit, that's why I am pleasantly surprised. Nice treat for hikers and skaters!! Since I have embarked on the healthier-eating. I skipped all their traditional dishes, such as burgers and steak. We ordered the kale salad and the veggie pasta. I like the sturdy ceramic plates. We came in a large group, the kitchen was busy preparing our orders. They did not rush though; it took about 25 minutes to get our two dishes which showed that they took time to prepare the dishes. We loved the two dishes! The dining room had country/mountain themed decor which is a nice touch.
